I had an owl brood(?) a nest of owlings in a pine grove where I used to live. I would walk back there and check on their progress. Just amazing how silent they can fly and how well they maneuver through the thick pines considering how large the wing span was. It was a horned owl and the 3 little ones were sooo cute :) blink, blink.
Their droppings are pretty nasty looking though. That's how I noticed them because I found the droppings.
We found them hunting the quail I kept in my garden for a while. They would usually come around at sunset or just after, or early morning at first light. Such beautiful creatures! Their poop is nasty! We’ve found some interesting things in our yard lol.
 
I really don’t think so since no one else was affected. An nothing for them to get into. I think and just a guess breeding has something to do with it. Now I only have one little Fawn an White left out of 4. Lost 2, 3 days after they arrived, hatchery said shipping stress.
