The Quack Shack

I had an owl brood(?) a nest of owlings in a pine grove where I used to live. I would walk back there and check on their progress. Just amazing how silent they can fly and how well they maneuver through the thick pines considering how large the wing span was. It was a horned owl and the 3 little ones were sooo cute :) blink, blink.
Their droppings are pretty nasty looking though. That's how I noticed them because I found the droppings.
We found them hunting the quail I kept in my garden for a while. They would usually come around at sunset or just after, or early morning at first light. Such beautiful creatures! Their poop is nasty! We’ve found some interesting things in our yard lol.

Good Morning, Day, Afternoon, Evening or Night to everybody!
Apologies for my absence, i was sick over the Thanksgiving Weekend and now i am drowning in work. - But i am happy that i still have a job…
Did you have Dux on Thanksgiving?

@Magnolia Ducks same happened here with one of my young Runners noticed she was off by herself one day next morning found her dead in the coop. Just like she was asleep. So hard to loose them without knowing.
Some kind of poisoning?

I really don’t think so since no one else was affected. An nothing for them to get into. I think and just a guess breeding has something to do with it. Now I only have one little Fawn an White left out of 4. Lost 2, 3 days after they arrived, hatchery said shipping stress.

I love okra but boiled peanuts are awful.
I like them! - Just eat them as what they are: Beans!
Peanuts are no nuts, they are legumes and they taste fine in for example a stew.
And peanuts are the only beans that won't generate a ton of bio-gas in a humon intestine…
