My kitty has cancer

The vet called back with the bloodwork results from her vet visit. Her liver numbers are sky high. The vet suspects lymphoma. She said we could either try an aggressive treatment tactic, or try steroids until it's time for her to go.

She's 21, so aggressive treatment like surgery or chemo isn't fair to her. So we're just gonna do steroids to see if that helps her, and then when she's not doing well any more, we'll put her to sleep.

21 is a good long life for a cat, though. Doesn't mean I'm not sad about it, of course.

Oh No! So many bad news! Fortunately 2020 is over soon…
I wouldn't go forward with an aggressive cancer treatment for a 21 year old cat. As sad as it is, but 21 years is a long life for a cat.

We are talking “peanuts boiled and sold at roadside stands”

Not some fancy dish with nuts in it like, pecan duck, substituting the pecan with a peanut.

I would be afraid to feed a boiled peanut to a dux even. If it didn’t kill them it would tick them off enough to attack.

I'm not sure there's anywhere in the world it's safe to kill swans. The Moose and timber qolf suprises me thiugh. Don't people eat Moose?

Wow I had a strangely interesting day... I have a wooded area on the far side of a 2 acre plot and there live 3 (I assume) crows.
I always have birds of prey, almost daily, hunting in the hay field around me. Mostly because it's overrun with voles, sigh. But today there was a persistant hawk, he hung around ALL day. And those crows gave him hell ALL day, lol!! I mean really harassed him. What a racket they made, crows cawing and hawk screeching. Wish I was able to video it, it was rather awesome. That hawk was eyeballing my chickens so I need to find a way to feed those crows so they stay close. Biggest crows I've ever seen.

I LOVE the local crows! They take so good care of the local BoP population!

Did you have Dux on Thanksgiving?

Actually yes! - We had roasted Duck for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. None of our ducks, just a store bought organic free ranging raised duck that was fed a gluten free diet…
But i was feeling already sick on Wednesday afternoon.
Can't blame the duck!

Just add some boiled peanuts to a chili, a chicken soup or a green beans casserole. It tastes nice but different and usually people are surprised when you tell them "Those are peanuts.".

Your crows are very different to ours.... only reason they chase off other birds is so they can hunt themselves. Awful birds crows (here atleast) watch them bully birds to death. Including poultry. New born animals they eat the eyes out before they can even get up to walk. AWFUL
