duck Math
Ok I ended up with 21 ducks. Way too many. I managed over time to rehome 10 of them. So 11 ducks, 9 hens 2 drakes. this was manageable. Then a bunch of eggs accidentally fell in the bator and I had 10 more ducks. I sold most of those and added 2 hens. So 13 ducks not ideal but ok. Then more eggs accidentally fell in and I couldn't sell them. So my duck reduction efforts went from 21 ducks to 26 ducks.
Duck math
I candled eggs tonight and due to the weather (floods and then very cold), subtract 13 developing muscovy ducklings and 12 turkey poults. Hopefully duck math is addition next time.

Good morning / evening folks :frow

Lisa, I love the phrase: "accidentally fell in the bator" :gig

Good Morning All,

With the bad there's good too. Six of seven serama chicks hatched last night; a good start to the day! Another freezing cold day, but the sun is shining bright.
I would gladly let you help. My problem is I get overcome with duckling cuteness.
I guess I'm guilty of that too. There's eleven month old duckling in the bathtub. The tub is cleaned every morning; a chore that is fun. After the tub is rinsed I partially fill it so the babies can play and get clean-so fun to watch, but as they grow I get wetter and wetter with their splashing. they've got a good start to being feathered. When the weather warms a bit, it will be time for them to go outside. I will miss clean tub time!

Good Morning/Evening.

Ya'll make me want some babies.
I love Seramas can we see some pictures when you can?
What breed of ducklings are in the bathtub? of course I want to see them too.
