Rowan update! Firstly, I have named him Rowan, haha. He is super friendly and outgoing. Here's a picture I got when I tried to open his cage to take a picture. He landed on my head about half a second after this was taken. I wish he was in focus!

He is an awesome flyer. His wings have never been clipped, and never will be. As such, he actually learned to fly, unlike a lot of birds who have their wings clipped basically as soon as they come in. Poor Luna doesn't know how to bank and turn well and when she takes off I'm always worried she's gonna bang into a wall. Rowan turns and banks like a pro.

Also, he seems to be very talented at mimicry. He started doing the wolf whistle a couple days after I brought him home - that was the first whistle my first cockatiel learned, so I was wolf whistling to Rowan and when he started doing it right away, I thought maybe he had already learned it from the breeder's place.

But now I think he just learned it that fast, because for the past week I've been whistling the Indiana Jones theme to him - and he's already practicing it and almost has the first part down! Gonna start repeating short phrases to him now.
