On both ears? - Pompom is deaf on her left ear, but has excellent hearing on her right ear. And she knows her name…

Depends on the kind of Dux: Muscovies are very quiet, whereas some Mallard derived dux can be much louder than a rooster. Just ask Tweedledee or my sick Runner. When i pick up the Runner, the neighbors' windows shatter and i am deaf for two hours…

Yes, ducks are way louder than roosters but they are allowed in town! Legally I am allowed one rooster in this town. But.. I miss my ducks... enough that I am highly considering getting the silent rouge missiles that kamakasi you when you come within 50metres of their nests (read, muscovy)

They also fly so if you want to keep them home you'll have to clip a wing.

One of the ducks laid a black egg…
Sometimes i receive a blueish egg, greenish eggs and now a black egg. Could that be from one of the Black Swedish ducks?
