It seems mating season for the mallards is over here. The ladies show up only once or twice every day, just to fill up their stomachs and then disappear quickly. I assume they're sitting. And the drakes have lost interest in pool floats at all - the Mallard drakes! The domestic drakes…
I expect to see little Mallard babies in May.

The ducks started fighting in the pool, and by the time I got to them to separate them, this had happened. The eye is a bit sunken in. What should I put on and around it?
