They are gorgeousOkay, now remember YOU are the ones requesting pictures of CHICKS! Finally got around tonight to taking some, to compare the feathering on my purebred Blue Laced Red Wyandotte to my supposed cross BLR Wyandotte x Mauve Orpington. I think I got all pures.
First, the one I know is pure:

This is the oldest of the chicks, probably around 3-4 weeks.
Next two are around 2 weeks old. One is more feathered out than the other (slow feathering = cockerel?)

According to genetics, the two supposed crosses should be blue with red leakage. Looks like they're red with blue lacing to me
And now, back to our regularly scheduled program.
