I do agree that it's a good temperature, but like I said that's the highest next week. Lowest daytime high is forecast at 17C. Nighttime lows are between 7 and 12 C.

I am hoping for the nighttime lows to stay above 15°, so that the peppers will start their grow season - and the tomatoes will shoot up. On the other hand cooler temperatures will allow me to mow for an hour or two in the morning and evening…

Well I'm trying to play with them every day. My last one stayed friendly with me but never missed a chance to bite dh on the butt or chase the dog and bite her. Both human and dog yelping. I've no idea of gender so we will just have to see.

I try to befriend Buffzillas ducklings by providing them food and water - and rescuing them when they have fallen off the cliff… Next thing i will try to coax them with some crushed mealworms to eat from my hand and offer them some fresh salad.

Anyway, in today's #3 swimming session Junior was relaxed and super active doing ducky things - paddling, dunking her head, half-sumberging, even throwing water on her back which we have not seen at all with her until now. And she ate lettuce out of my hand

She is making great progress! - Keep that up for a week and she will break right to your front door and seize the bags with the dog-food…

We need rain so badly here in Ohio and it will help clear our air from the smoke too. I am glad that there was some rain in Canada and hopefully it put out some of the fires for them.

Same here too. I had to water the potatoes today! They were displaying withered leaves…
And had to water the whole garden too.
But rain is forecasted for Sunday!

Rex is being such a good dad to Petrie's adopted poults. He will actually let them all get underneath him and will poult sit while Petrie takes a little break. He is so careful of them, too.
