Our Craigslist changes daily it seems so keep looking and I hope you can find some before winter.

I have subscribed to several searches on CL and receive e-mails whenever a search returns a new result. Nothing for "Muscovy" in a long time…

Ducklings need a lot of sleep, just checked the DuckyCam and saw them sleeping in the duck-house:

Why should they even think about flying away from a nice, safe home where there is always food and water available plus a humon servant serving yummy treats?

I don't know if they would or not but I just don't want to take any chances when I have them free ranging in my uncovered dog run where there are lots of bugs and grass for them.

Which (imho) should put the call-duck in an advantage, as it is able to fly away from a ground based predator. (?)

But leaves the far too heavy to fly egg laying chickens for supper.

As said, i am not aware of any neighbor keeping peafowl here. Its just chickens, ducks and bunnies.

You're right, they may fly away by getting lost. Their instincts are not as sophisticated as in wild ducks.

Bantam Chickens?

They are classed bantam, but are far larger then my standard wyandotte . I have bantam orpingtons who are by far the best egg layers I've ever had. The black ones arethe bantams
