I have the impression his webbies are growing back slowly but steadily.

I'm glad he healed up. It will be interesting to see if they do regrow.

Tweedledee's only surviving duckling (one out of seven) has gotten her name! - No not the designation "One of Seven" or short "One" - She is now know as »Laura Duck«.

Why »Laura«? - Well, she too looks like a yummy piece of milk-chocolate, like our »Milka Duck«, so i was looking for another chocolate brand name. I assume there are plenty of »Hershey Ducks« out already and "Toblerone", "Marabou" or "Goodiva" just did not sound right. Then my wife reminded me about her favorite Romanian chocolate...

My call dux have really started to enjoy their free range time at our new place. But now they won't stay off my porch.

I'm not sure why God keeps sending me weird and wonderful animals to look after. After peeling this guinea fowl off the road (almost needed a spatular) 2 weeks ago in the middle of no where, his head puffed up like a golf ball with injuries that would have landed a human needing a air ambulance, and a broken leg, safe to say it's feeling a million times better because it won't let me within 10 metres of it!

Maybe next he will send me a ducky or two

They are soooooo pretty!!! Do you know what sex they are yet? I heard a quack and the lighter one looks like a girl to me for sure.

Mayhem is the drake with the missing webbie on his right foot and yes Chaos Blondie duck is a girl.

Soooooo pretty!!! How old is she now? She surely quacks well.

She is about six weeks old, she hatched on August 20th.
Mayhem hatched five days later and Chaos on the 27th.

Mayhem has adjusted very well with that webless foot. It did look like it was trying to grow back. That will be amazing if it does. You will have to keep us posted Frank, I would be interested to see if it does.

Of course i will keep y'all posted about Chaos and Mayhem!
We delivered eggs to the Asian Supermarket today and Mayhem flirted heavily with the shop-owner's daughter, whereas Chaos managed to sneak her poop out of the laundry basket on the floor…
