It does now. The coop itself was fine if a bit crowded for the night, but I do admit I messed up with the pen. It was solid enough to keep the juveniles in and they had tons of room, I just didn't think that anything would try for them during the day.Boy that pen and coop sure needs a lot of work to make it secure from whatever that was that got in.
that looks like the hidden entrance for the batmobile (to the batcave )I'm positive. This is the pen from both the property side, and the road side.

As you can see, it's not visible from the road.
I'm still thinking it's probably the fox, even though I couldn't smell it.![]()
Amen, just about anything could have done a snatch and grab.Boy that pen and coop sure needs a lot of work to make it secure from whatever that was that got in.
Are they really still small vs big? Our younglings are 3 months and 2 months old and they are almost the size of our adult ducks, like 80-90% ... except for the boss drake, he's really much bigger than anybody else.today is a big day for my 11 weekers ! i just took the crate out of the duck house! I really hope they do good together tonight with the big ducks and no cage. Because now I have to put in another cage for the next set of lings. I actually put the(smaller) cage in the duck house already on top of a small table in the same spot, so the 11 weekers can sleep under the table if they want to be in the same spot where their crate was.
does that make sense?
I’ve been watching where my big ducks poop to see if any were sleeping close to the small ducks yet - and yes the past few nights they were!
lol my small ducks are 6 weeks old and yes they are still smaller, one still has the fluff in his head and neck. ON his head i mean .Are they really still small vs big? My latest Runner Drake got huge fast. I thought he was black but in the shade I can see he is just very dark Chocolate. He has one little stripe of fuzz going down his neck but it bigger than most of my other ducks already. He is only 6 weeks old now. I think some grow faster than others it seems.lol my small ducks are 6 weeks old and yes they are still smaller, one still has the fluff in his head and neck. ON his head i mean .
