SEE, @WannaBeHillBilly ??! You just have precocious duxlings! Must be all those peas! ;)
And the catfish feed that they ate during the first two weeks. Much protein = fast growth. You just need to reduce the protein content starting in week three or their wings develop faster than their muscles.

i’m currently watching to see where they ( yellow jerks) are nesting this year. last year was in my greenhouse and I got stung a a few times - had to get a professional. i’ve been seeing them flying around lately .
I don't mind them,as long as they nest somewhere else and don't sting me. The yellow jacket nest in my grass got the Permethrin treatment. Especially because it is in the area where the Momma ducks and their ducknagers find refuge from Mayhem's corkscrew. I don't want any young duck become a Pincushion

Fire sounds like a good solution for them
safety hazard in the places i’ve had nests fire world be too dangerous. When I had a nest in an old wood pile, and when I saw the opening where they were entering an exiting, I just put a tablespoon of sevin dust right at the opening. They landed in it and carried it inside. Problem solved, but the nest in my greenhouse all involved in a tub full of burlap sacks, I think if I had a beekeeper suit, I probably could’ve got that out myself, but I wouldn’t do it without one
