i think my cayuga-runner mix drake ‘Pickles’ has runner legs with a cayuga body. and that’s why his little legs were so shakey. they are better now but i’m continuing the extra niacin. his legs just look skinny
In 2019 i ordered five "Magpie" ducks from Ideal Poultry in Texas. They grew into fragile looking black and white ducks, which exactly match your description. When they were running, it looked like in the had-drawn cartoons where the legs were just rotating.
All of them developed leg and hip-problems and Pinball's grand-daughter, Laura looks somewhat fragile on the thin legs.
Here is a short video of them, together with the White Layers:
The White Layers are stomping around, while the Magpies are light treading.

all the young ducks (two month olds and three month olds) have formed a coalition. They are the keepers of the pools.

Look at the beautiful blue eyes on this mulard!

I see blue eyes often on ducks with white heads, but this is the first time for one with a dark coloured head.
Yes, most of my white ducks have/had blue eyes, but surprisingly all of my Black and Blue Swedish ducks/drakes and their offspring have blue eyes too. Its just hard to see. The 'Magpies' had blue eyes too.
