A month without electricity?! - We were cut off in 2008 for five days after Hurricane Ike and that was a terrible experience. Good Luck! All the best wishes and crossing fingers that the linemen can fix it sooner.

hurricane Floyd gave us 4 inches water in the basement master bedroom and 17 days no power it was sad but nothing compared to WNC now,

the saddest thing was my Dad just sat at his computer every day waiting for it to come back on. the best thing was the church around the corner gave out free hot coffee and donuts every morning. and our fire dept gave out free dry ice for our refrigerator. but that was a pretty long line.

Poor dad. I have kind of been doing that. I just check my laptop several times a day, but it seems that evening is when I can get on and stay for a while.
My son just informed me it is 21 days. I can't even keep up with what day it is.

Hi Supercow! - Hi Quack Shack!
Emotional roller-coaster Tuesday was my last day as an employee, a very emotional day, the "doomed" opened a session on the internal instant messenger and were chatting until security kicked us out at 6pm PDT.
Since then i am trying to find a new daily routine and not to fall into that "why even get out of my bed" trap. The ducks are very helpful with that challenge.
I promise to catch up with you by the end of the week…

Having someone or something to take care of when your own path seems to be suddenly lost is a lifesaver.

Umm... anyone elses duck lay rotten, dino shaped eggs? This is not first, though this is the first that I have candled, others I boiled, cut open and they were brown

these two are available to me in my neighborhood i’m waiting for a reply from the seller ( from my local FB group) i asked their age & price. in the meantime, do they look beautiful and perfect and gorgeous and wonderful and cute and adorable and healthy to you?? because I never had snowy calls before , I never had any calls before /yet so idk if they are supposed to look like this or not? the females bill looks mottled / spotted like most of my white layers. is that normal for a snowy call? help me I’m already thinking of names for them.

I'm just starting out with Calls myself so can't give much advice. She sure is pretty!
