In the Brooder
I didn't go out and get chickens. They sort of became mine accidentally. (Whole story here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/me.1210196/ ) They started laying and now I find that I can't eat the eggs! Nothing wrong with them. I just have this weird psychological thing about eating the eggs. I know they've not been fertilized, so that's not it. And I don't have a problem using them in a cake or something like that. But I can't make fried eggs or scrambled eggs or anything like that using my chickens' eggs.
I wonder if any of you have had this problem, or known someone who had this problem, and can tell me how to overcome it.
I'm not kidding! This is really a thing. And, yes, I know I'm a little crazy because of this.
Eggs are not being wasted. I'm giving them away.
Thanks!!

does the color bother you? I find my fresh eggs scramble better (way fluffier). I am also not a fan of the occasional "meat" you find in farm fresh eggs but its easily removed. I prefer my own eggs because i know what my hens eat and i know how much hens suffer for those store bought eggs. I suggest cooking some, however you prefer them. If u cant get the nerve up to try them u can give them to the hens
