Not good. Was checking on her foot tonight. The scab is taking up most of the pad of her foot. One of the hard pustule things broke through the skin on the top of her foot. I pulled it out. Well, I found a local butcher for all our extra roos. They are going in on Wednesday. I was hoping to find homes for a couple since they're gorgeous purebreds (Blue Copper Marans and Lavender Ameraucana) but no such luck. Oh well, I will be glad to lower our rooster population!- tori8780

I was gonna get some jubilee or lavender orpington eggs for her, but darn it they are so expensive! I dont think I can spend that much on shipped eggs that will probably have a crappy hatch rate. Worrying about my dogs this afternoon. Got home to find a chewed and empty pill bottle. No idea which one it was (though my guess is the puppy). Vet had me vomit them all with hydrogen peroxide to check for pill bits, but no luck. All vomit was clean. So now I'm supposed to watch for any...- tori8780

Our little pullet hasnt improved at all. She cant even get to the feeder/waterer on her own so we have decided to euthanize her. Poor girl, but it is no way to live. I've had to hand feed and water her today.- tori8780

Her wings and neck are just fine. She was flapping like crazy today when I was trying to check her out. Her eyes are clear and alert. Weight is holding steady so far. My little pullet isnt doing any better today :( I really felt around the joints and didnt feel any dislocation and she didnt give any indication of pain as I manipulated the foot and leg.
