Both are cockerels for sure. Pullets don't get combs like that until closer to 20+ weeks old.

As far as age I'm not a good judge of that, but the coloring says pullet. I love that pattern -- wish I could get one like that!

From these photos Harpo and Camo are the only 2 cockerels I see. Camo definitely, Harpo I'm not 100% sure on. I'm basing off the colors mostly, so Camo has all boy color and nice deep red on his shoulders. I see a little tiny bit of red on Harpo's shoulder, but not too much. However, he's got...

I'm leaning toward pullet. I may be wrong, but I don't see any indication of red coming in on the shoulders.

72Lark, you have all pullets, and very pretty ones too! dftkarin, it's still pretty early to guess their gender. But when they reach around 8 weeks old you should be able to see a lot of color in their combs if either is a cockerel, and around that time you may be able to see the dark red...

x2 Frankie's comb is the same color and size as all 4 of my EE cockerels' were at 8 weeks.

I'm pretty positive that's a pullet. Looks just like my friend's EE, and she's gorgeous!

They're so pretty! Right now they look like pullets, but 5 weeks is a tad bit early for me to be 100% positive.

I'm afraid it's most likely a boy. See the dark red patches on the shoulders? It's in the same place as the definite cockerel and that's a very definitive sign of a cockerel. There isn't as much comb development yet, but sometimes they take a little longer.

Pullet. :) No deep red shoulders, small comb, just pink. I can't see the saddle feathers very good but at 3 months you'd be able to tell by the comb and shoulders.

She's really pretty! Some EEs just don't get the muffs and it's just fine. :)

Sorry, but Heritage is a cockerel. He's got a big red comb (pullets don't get them until much later around 4-5 months), and deep red in his shoulders. It always end up being the sweetest and favorite!
