You can really crank out the projects. That's great!

5azsisters, that is a very nice start of a blankie. The yarn looks so soft.

Wegotchickens, I am soooo proud of you for learning a new pattern.

That blanket looks great! E-mail the directions when you get a chance. Crochet directions makes me mad! :thun I'll keep trying though. Now I know why our crochet cheerleader, Kelly wanted to throw her stuff against the wall.

I finally figured out the sunflower granny square w/ help, so I hope to have time to help w/ charity stuff now.

I don't think that's been determined yet. I'm voting for sending our projects to local charities, rather than just sending everything to one place.

I've looked up Project Linus in my area and there are several places I can take the things I make. That way a local child would have one of my blankies. And maybe I could make some new friends among the charity organizers, too.

Scrambled's original plan was to save things up for Christmas delivery with BYC tags on them. I'll definitely wait to get a BYC tag. But DH wants me to turn them over as I finish them, rather than store them up. He thinks a closet full of squares is enough storage for us!

Angel, just make whatever you feel good about and nearer the end of the year, you can either send it to me and likely what I will do is make a big box of things to send to SeminoleWind since she is a nurse in a preemie unit and can get pics for us of the stuff being used or you can do like Lori suggested and take them yourself to your local hospital with a preemie unit or send them to your local Project Linus. We'll find some place wonderful for whatever you make to go to..so get busy girl!!! LOL!!! Hook on!!!

I need to get with that Nifty Chicken too about making us some tags, lol!!!!!

Not nearly as pretty as Jacie'sor Lori's, but here is what I have on mine..just half double crochet and I will do some kind of border around it. About 36".

LOL!!! Go Lori!! I think we actually NEED a yarn stash!!! See, it makes it easier to justify having such a glut of it if you actually HAVE to have it for some project you hope to get time for some day, loL!! I have a sinful amount of yarn!!

Thank you Jacie..it really is plain compared to ya'lls...maybe I'll do a row or two of shell border on it..seems the mother's like to keep these woobie's as keep sakes for their kids so I suppose they should LOOK special.

Everyone is doing so great!! Is anyone making preemie booites? If so..share your pattern??!! I bought a really, really soft skien of white, light and lofty baby yarn for that preemie hat with the top knot and I figure there will be enough left for booties but I have never made those..and I am not a knitter unless it's with those fat knit sticks so that won't work fo rme!! Anyone have an easy preemie bootie pattern? Have a great day ya'll..gotta get outta here....

Just wanted to post a quick update, then I'm off here to get some sleep.

My boy is in the hospital. They did some work during the cath, coiled a vein, we came home that night, and the next evening, he got real sick, crying, grabbing his chest, so we took him back down to Children's, and he was admitted last night for observation on the cardiac unit.

They are concerned because his heart rate is too high (in the 140's) and he's spiked a few prety high temps.

I came home this evening to get some work done real quick around here. I had three day's worth of eggs to gather, good thing there's lots of food for free-range. Our neighbor came up to feed the dog and cats, but didn't do the chickens.

They girls were happy to see me. I did a few quick passes with the big tractor to keep the grass down, or we're going to have to get a baler.

I'm getting up to head back down to relieve my husband in about 5 hours, so I'm off here.

I'll let you guys know more when I find out what the heck is going on. They had scheduled us for surgery for July 8th on the day of the cath, now they're talking about doing it next week.

I'm barely holding on to my sanity.
Night, ladies.
