Great... Hubby has been after me to use up some of my fabric ( we're running out of room... all you crafters know how that happens... kind of like chickens). So this weekend I'll make a few and ship them out. I'm excited!!! I took a little break from quilting but this is a good way to get back into it!

They are 3-4 layers of flannel so they are WARM to say the least.

This is such a great thing! I'm so glad I came across this thread!

Hi Sem!! I have about one more night's worth of edging to do on another preemie blaket and them I think I'll box it all up and send it your way so we can get some excitement going with the actual "giving" part. Thank you so much for your willingness to take our projects to the hosptial with you and take some pictures..really, really appreciate that!!

Well I have one Blanket... it's a bigger one (isn't the prettiest binding but I don't think a child will criticize). It's the pink one in the picture.

If you can send me the addy to send this blanket out to I will get it out today.

I can't even tell you how great I feel about this! My Mom was on my hiney yesterday about the sewing machine I haven't been using (Uh hello it has a hatcher on the cabinet right now

) so now that I'm done hatching for a few weeks I can get to sewing!

If you can think of sizes for me to make these blankets I can get to work on those too.

OH and I can also make a ton of single layer flannel recieving blankets.

This was a good day!! Ty (hubby) took 2 of the blankets by John C. Lincoln Hosp this morning.
They sent him right up to the preemie unit and when he got to the truck he called me right away.

He said: "I wish you had been here. The nurses got so excited about the blankets and all gave me hugs and said to tell you thank you so much!"

That makes it all worth while folks!
