Hi, crochet newbie here.

I don't know how to crochet yet, but I think I have been inspired to learn. I used to know how to knit when I was a kid, does that help?

I usually do cross stitch if my 'handy craft muse' ever awakens from its hibernation. Maybe bibs or something like that with cross stitch could work for donations if I can't get my fingers to wrap around the crochet?

I took Scrambled Egg's blankies to work, and gave one to a baby, and took pics. The other one is in my locker awaiting another special babe. SE, I got another package from you today, haven't opened it yet. I will tomorrow. Thankyou, the baby's parents last night were telling me about the 50 pet chickens they used to have! They got a kick out of that label.

Thank you...I am happy to be here. I think I will be able to get stocked up on some supplies and things when I get back from the trip (pics will be posted as well) Since well, quite honestly the crochet thing is currently giving me fits, I definitely will do bibs. I hope it is ok if they are the premade form bibs that you can cross-stitch something cute onto. I have to warn you all though, I am SSLLLOOOOWWWW!

I make the hat looms if anybody is interested. I have the adult size on my etsy (link in Sig line) but I make a Child, Baby, Newborn and Preemie size as well, I guess I should get those posted. If I can figure out how to do a discount on Etsy, I'll give one for BYC'ers or you can just PM me. I'm not trying to make money off a charity thing here, just wanting to let you know that if you are interested I make them.

You can make a beautiful hat in an hour more or less, depending on size. Even children can make these hats they are very easy, so get your kids involved. My mom makes 100's of these a year. I tend to make more toys to donate myself. I just can't stand the idea of a child not having a toy.

But I do teach others how to use the looms and they make a ton too.
