Chicks for the first Time

Yes the girls love them they talked me in getting chickens

Some girls are grossed out by the poop and chickens do a lot of pooping...

Its good for the kids, my wife parents raised quail and pheasants when she was kid

They been pooped on few times already they just keep going dont slow them down

My daughter doesn't mind being pooped on but doesn't like cleaning it off the floor...go figure...

I grew up on a commercial farm. Broilers... but these are my first backyard chicks.

Lived in city limits up to last year move on to 50 acres got more room here

First chickens we bought were at tractor supply was labled light brahmas and red sex links so we bought 6 of the red & 3 brahmas 6 week later we realized the brahmas was broilers and the red are leg horns

We killed and cooked the broilers while the kids were gone
