Also, this was just candled today and doesn't look right to me, what does everyone else think? If this is a goner, that makes only 3 out of 6 left so far View attachment 1590364

Doesn’t look great, but might as well leave it in now. Could be it broke the membrane and some extra fluid is floating around, since they didn’t dry out quite enough.
I’d leave it in, but prop it up with the air cell end elevated and hope for the best.

It is actually not Wiggles that cheeped this morning. It was another one, I was surprised because I thought Wiggles was the last man standing

@WVduckchick Thank you!! I unfortunately lost my favorite hen to a hawk a few weeks ago, her last egg that she laid that day was my reason for wanting to incubate any eggs at all. I put 6 in total, and only 4 made it to day 18 so far. My roo is an ayam cemani and to be honest with you I am not totally sure what my hens are, I will post a picture and maybe someone on this thread will know!

Oh wow, so sorry you lost her!! She was a beauty!! Just gorgeous. I don’t know what breed though. Maybe campine? Seems like those stupid predators always target our favorites.
