I have a bunch doing the molt thing. Isn’t it a bit early for that? It seems anything goes this year everyone is molting all the time it seems !
Feels early to me but Phyllis just had her post broody molt. Were the molting hens recently broody?

Evidence of Phyllis molt

Sophia and Blanche in their prime roosting location - the early bird might get the worm, but the early to bed get the best roosts!

The hay pile is always great fun for the gals, not so much fun for me when I grab the bale strings covered in Cecil poop!

Great photos! 👍

I am not quite sure I am ready for this, but I have to face facts. Her comb is quite red and she just squatted for me.
I think we may be approaching first egg time.
Isn’t that waaay too soon?
She also jumped onto my arm - she is still my little alien baby!

How many weeks old?

23 pages is manageable, try 50+!! I knew there'd be an avalanche when you announced. But it is wonderful, especially to hear from folks who have been off the thread!
It was worth all of it. It was a ton of fun. Take your time and enjoy it. I did.
