Chickens eat those things too. I wonder if you can get chicken magnets?

Not like these ones though.

Oh I love it awesome! Haha so cute 😊

I am so careful here in the barn with nails and such, I worry the chickens will eat it or the horses step on nails and screws. Either way it’s an expensive Vet bill😳

(Gasp)!

Poor Rosie oh no! Give her a gentle hug from me.

When she goes to the feedmill don’t let them try to stick cow magnets on her hahaha - they tried that with me and I let them know the plate was stainless steel non magnetic 😊

They then wanted to take me to the airport and send me through security- now this was way back in the early 90s before all the crazy security we now have. Tell Rosie not to fall for that also 😊.

FYI cow magnets were used to put down onto a cows first stomach (on a string) to fish out any hardware a cow might eat (nails, screws, bolts. Apparently they eat these things!) - they call it hardware disease 😳
Chickens get hardware disease too. Maggie apparently has (or maybe by now had) two screws and a washer inside her.

I keep telling myself it is worth persevering because we know what she has and it will get better, but in spite of tube feeding multiple times a day she is getting weaker and weaker.
Honestly it is breaking my heart.
Oh dear ☹️ poor wee Bella, well as long as you the no she isn't suffering I would stay to course.

Are there no anti virals they can give? If it's a herpes virus there is one for shingles . I had to take it for two weeks when I had shingles.cant they compound some for your Bella?

I don't know what to say because I would feel awful too and very worried. I really hope she takes a turn for the better. Do you think she is in pain, or just very weak ?

Holy Dinah - wow what a scare for you! I imagine you now keep an epi pen (epinephrine / Adrenalin) very close by now!
That's what we had at home, it's called anapen here and you're required to call 911 if you use it.
And 2 hrs - wow you are remote. are there medical clinics closer for less urgent care like stitches ?
The closer clinics only deal with elderly and psychiatric cases. There are liberal doctors but they won't come for an emergency.
You and @Kris5902 both have quite the travel for urgent care! It’s the price one pays for living such splendid locations.
