Yep it’s the human dilemma, they like you when you do things, then get miffed when you don’t!I’m not life’s babysitter. I left that career long ago. The townspeople won’t leave me alone anymore. “Alex can you come fix this?” “Alex, I know you are busy, but my sink is clogged up, can you help?” “Alex, my friend is sick, can you fly me to Sacramento?0 So much more, I don’t want to share with with this forum.
Then I am the bad guy for saying “No I can’t!”
Not far but away, from this explosive person that no one could ever know when he will decide too kick off for what ever reason his twisted mind comes up with nextDid I miss something? Are you moving house? Good to get away from the noxious neighbor.
Oh sorry just realized the time change sorry hope I didn’t wake you
You are fluent in crowing so I wouldn't be at all surprised if you also spoke in the chickens varying language's toOh he asserting his authority, he is the boss of his girls and he wants you to know that.
It doesn’t mean that he doesn’t look to you for security and as part of the flock, but it is his way of tellin you he doesn’t want you to mess with him and his girls at that time.
This is normal they can’t talk like us humans they have their own methods of communication. Just like the horses will put their ears back and walk away from you when they don’t want to do something. Well it was my experience with my Roos that the biting was a defence mechanism and a way to communicate.
You’re still his flock mate, as such we need to learn their language - and this is something that you are good at! Just remember they aren’t human they have their own culture and language![]()

I grabbed my phone and took two pictures; one with the flash and one without. I then had a play with filters on them and I thought the colours were pretty cool.
