Oooooh, you might have a boy there. In the first pic, the front-most one seems to have quite a bit of comb and a cockerel stance. Also has pretty rugged looking legs, but the other chick isn't positioned well enough to compare well. Anyone else want to confirm/negate? @rural mouse is usually pretty good at this , @BY Bob , too (when it isn't Jabberewocky!) (& @RebeccaBoyd , but I'm not sure if she is back on yet. )

I agree that he looks like a boy. I feel like I've been pretty good at spotting cockerels, since Chickadee was a boy mom. She had a clutch of 9 chicks once, and 7 were boys I miss her

I’m here with Chaco. Brushing her out. And her treats are carrots again today.

You ever think of getting her trained to ride? She looks like she would be nice and quiet….?

I was tempted to throw a leg over Truly but o need to go to town (sigh) all I have done today is putter around with the ponies and chickies I sang ‘My Green Valleys’ to them and they all seemed to appreciate my efforts. I forgot half the words as I haven’t sang that in a long time, but I just make up words and the chickies never know ha!

No sad songs today though, I need to change it up! …Let’s twist again like we did last week….

Ugh - what a depressing thought that they might be moving in permanently. There is lots of territory for them a couple of miles on, I hope they like that better!

Yup I told the bald eagle that also! So far I have been lucky - knock on wood…

Hmmm now that gave me an idea for another song!!!! Knock three times on the ceiling……. Hahaha
