Not awake brain rambles off on weird tangents and makes odder jumps to others.

I am alive; but I tell you I have just had the worst 24 hrs, so ill exhausted, body aches, fever, savage sore throat (still have that) some coughing massive headache, and then nausea and throwing up. Of course not having eaten anything all I was doing was dry heaving.

My stomach muscles are protesting right now , but the worst is the sore throat, trying to work it’s way up into my sinuses. Add in runny nose and constant streaming eyes…. 00:08hrs on Thursday - thirsty Thursday - so o am having a cuppa bovril, every swallow a journey in serious agony, but I feel a bit better.

How crazy that my mum had this few days before me, and all she had was a mild cold symptoms for a few days. Me I have been brewing this since Saturday! And so ill. Of course she has had her four full doses of the jab, were as I only had 4…. Bad Kelly!

But I am upright and not too bad all considering. I might even have another bovril!

Mr Pompei is going to need his golden locks pinned up to keep them out of his food and water! (Ok going to be gross here: long hair an vomiting don’t mix )

Freckles, Louis xiv, Spangles, Independence, what was the name if the guy who wrote the words to the Star Spangled Banner? (Brain fart) Sumpter, Camo(uflage), Appaloosa, Dalmatian, (scientific name for snow leopard), Zebra, is there some kind of black and white spotted fish? Polka... wasn't there an artist or 2 famous for using dots (not stippling, although that could work too)?

This was incredible! She wasn't joking around. I can see that she ruled by fear!

I hope you're doing a little better today! And don't want to be a pain in the b... but I checked our governmental health page for COVID and it still says to avoid NSAID for COVID, as there is a suspicion it makes it worse for some people . I know, it could be lots of other things...do make sure you stay hydrated and check your fever.

I'm ashamed to ask so I'm putting this at the very end ...what does koffee klatch means ?

On the NSAIDs they don't really know. NSAIDs impact immune response and there is some evidence that they reduce the body's natural immune response to fight COVID. But the data from mice has not been reliably replicated in people so I believe it is still a theoretical worry based on how these drugs impact the immune response.

And finally, don't worry about Koffee Klatch - I had no clue either and had to look it up - I thought it was rather a nice idea, but as I don't drink coffee I am always a bit lost on Wednesdays!
