Except DUCKS! Regular ducks grow to 'almost' adult size in 6 weeks (like gangly teenager size). They grow SUPER fast in the first 4 weeks....but then take their time to finish filling out. So, cornish X are still faster to processing....but if I am raising chicks & ducklings at the 'same' time, I get the chicks 3-4 weeks sooner or the ducks grow so fast they will trample them! They grow really fast.
They say there is no other protein that grows as fast as chickens.
