It's official. Even though I've never met RC in person I definitely love this lady. If Tina survives or not one thing I can say RC has always been supportive and what's not to love about this caring lovely lady

A selfish rant coming up: here’s my thoughts. For what it’s worth, I do my best to help people out who are in trouble. Sometimes it’s a very thankless job. Sometimes it’s very rewarding. But losing your only pet, and then realize that you are all alone, is heartbreaking . Last night burying my neighbors dog, hurt me too. I’m just wondering, if In the future, I may need some help, to have someone to care for me. Or am I to die lonely and afraid in the dark?
Rant over, tax payments come later.

I don't know if it will make you feel better, but I'm absolutely certain this woman will remember forever that you were with her to bury her little dog and share her sorrow in that terrible moment.

And I agree with Marie, having faith and being active in a religious community is a way to help you not being alone facing death. Both spiritually and in real day to day life.
I say this as an atheist, but I've seen how being active in a church helped my grandma in the ten last years she spent on her own. I'm sure you will find help there when you'll really need it- you just have to find it in you to ask !
