Well interestingly it didn't go up the tree I wrapped - I think it is the same little one that was above the roof of the Chicken Palace last night. I am wondering if it was up there all day. Maybe it was up there when I wrapped the tree!
Kinda hard to believe, that you have a raccoon smarter than you! :idunno

Follow the instruction of “the duck song “ and duct tape that raccoon to the tree. And leave it there all day stuck.🤔

I would hate to think that my birds could catch a virus from me. I’m pretty sure that they can’t. (But I’m always up close and personal with them)
I hope you didn't get a bronchial infection from the recent almond dust stuff.:idunno The only positive to it being that, though, would be it would be easily treatable with an antibiotic (versus it being viral) Hope you feel better in the morning after a bit of sleep!

A cute picture to ?maybe? cheer you up?

Seems these guys heard stories of the 'box' from @RoyalChick 's Hooligans. More are in the box than underneath the warming plate!!! And it is chilly here at night the last few nights, but they slept there - without any real feathering!!!:th

Oh I'm so sorry, Michelle! :hugs Beautiful dear Cashew, rest in peace ❤️ :hugs ❤️

I'm so sorry. I remember you said she was unwell some time ago. I hope she passes in peace and that you find some confort burying her at home, close to her friends 💚.

I'm so sorry to hear your beloved Cashew is gone :hugs :hugs :hugs She was such a beautiful girl! You are very creative - maybe you can make a decorative stepping stone or other marker for her?

Awww I'm sorry Michelle :hugs

Oh no Michelle 😥

I am so sorry to hear this. Such hard time we are having here it seems with things.

Such a beautiful location for her to rest forever.

I am so sorry Michelle. :hit :hugs

I'm so sorry for you loss. It sounds like you found her the perfect final resting spot.

That was very lovely, I am sorry for your loss.

I don’t know who Cashew is, but im very sorry. Losing an animal is hard, but choosing to put them down can be a lot harder. Your doing the right thing. Thats how you know someone truly loves their animals, that their doing things with the animals best interest in mind, not their own.
:hugs I hope things get better, and again, im so sorry this happened and it came down to having to euthanize her.

Its beautiful. Fly high Cashew.

Thank you all for your condolences and thoughtfulness. I finally just buried her… I had a lot of work to do today posting a board packet before the long weekend. She is at rest where I said, under the walnut tree near her sisters. At some point I will do a tribute, but for now I just want to say that my favorite memory of hers when she got to raise chicks. She was a wonderful mother. Rest in peace sweet Cashew.
