Isn’t that sad?! I haven’t read it as I thought it was sad!

Watership Down, Mr. Bunny turned her on to it.
Good guess but not so.“Little Women” I bet!
It has very complex themes on society. I don't know that it is sad as much as it is shocking that the bunnies are not nice to each other. Even cruel. It's actually quite a grown up book.Isn’t that sad?! I haven’t read it as I thought it was sad!![]()
I never thought of that.Or maybe the lovely Hattie has taken on the role of mentor and has come to evaluate her protege's offering?
It always is a relief when their molt is over. Then they are so beautiful with their new feathers. I was always so shocked at how yellow Daisy's, the greatest hen ever, feathers had become. She was brilliant white after her molt, almost blinding.Thank you!
When I let them out for free range time today she jumped up and balanced on the low gate barrier (stops the dogs nosing their way in under the gate and eating all the chook food). As she wobbled there for a moment I got to admire her full feathering including her fluffy butt!
It's such a relief to have her warmly covered again.
No boredom here. Keep them coming.Diaper change maybe?
@BY Bob I promise I won't bore the group on your thread with non-chicken stuff but as we have some knowledgeable folk here I am curious what you think is going on here.
First it is clear that there are three live baby wrens.
But look in the second half when he is given something to remove from the nest. What could that be?
I hope not but you never know until it happens.I’m wondering if Charlie is going to have a hard moult; she’s got bald patches! It’s like she has a comb-over at the moment!
Grey squirrels are an accepted part of our landscape now and have all but wiped out our native red squirrels due to competition for food. Are grey squirrels vermin in the US or are they native? They are vermin in the UK, but because we don’t have squirrels in Australia, we used to feed the ones in our backyard peanuts still in their shells. They were so cute!
Thank you. You are very kind.Lovely babies you have and Jabber is very handsome !
