Yeah, aces would not have worked. The last several months we have picked back up playing phase 10. It passes the time when we are staying up with grandma. Yes, the one on the right. Honestly, for having bought 'heritage BRs', she is my worst example - lots of flaws to specks. But I love her and she is the one who went Broody, so I wanted a pic of her. The 'real/fake' is party an ongoing joke with @featherhead007 and @BY Bob . Although she was hatched on site by a production BR (the one on the left), she looks more like a cuckoo marans in colouring.

She is very pretty.

I took this video of Twiggy yesterday. Notice what he is eating, it slightly upsets me. If I try to offer them worms, they look at me like I am crazy and worms are beneath them. I will be honest about Twig. He is gorgeous, acts so much like his daddy who I adore but I find myself holding back. I am afraid to get to attached to him like I did with Ezzie, and Drumstick. I'm terrified something will happen to Branch as well, but, to 100 percent prevent that I would have to lock him up 24/7 which is not fair to him. I have started taking Twiggy off the roost at night for a few cuddles, but, Rosie is closer to him then I am. If that remains the case, I will be ok with it as she needs her own special rooster as well.

Well, of course! Every respectable chicken knows you have to DIG (scratch) for worms. Anything on top of the ground just sitting there must be some dangerous alien impersonator, or something, of worms. Really, now, mum!

Ancient Chinese recipe: ramen noodles, chop up some mushrooms, onions and carrots. Boil until soft, stir, then add two eggs and boil again. Serve with sesame oil and soy sauce (hot pepper sauce if you want it hot)
