I was given a clue last night when she wound up under the main coop sleeping. If Betty, Aurora, and Sydney stay out late they are congregating around the ramp to the Cluckle Hut. Last night she refused to try and go through them. Betty is especially pecky.

So Gucci just went under the main coop and lay down. I'm guessing that if she was trapped in the big run by then, once they went to bed and Gucci went up the ramp, the door was already closed.

This is just a guess. I will watch again tonight.
Awwww poor wee gal. Is it possible to let the door open an extra half hour ? To let everyone get settled and then she can also get settled?

I have bed time drama here also, and I bet this is why Misty roosts in the shavings room.

Hay tax : I think we are allowed goats for pony Sunday ?

We saw many families of these guys ( I think they are ibex in English?) during our mountains trek, they were reintroduced in the early 90s in our mountain chain. They have been protected and are now thriving, the wolves don't seem to predate them!

And days of staring I think Piou-pious tail is coming in! I would like to rectify that she is not sweet, however. She may be small but she is feral. She never comes near us, so two nights ago I tried to give her some treats in her nest before locking the coop - she screamed and BIT ME 🤣.

Wow those are wonderful! Yes they are Ibex I think. How wonderful to be able to see them 😊

Piou-piou is making it known that she is the boss 😊 and yes it seems her tail is coming in. I have some that don’t have very large tails…

Meimei has become a super sweet girl

Zooming in on her comb, there are two horns sticking out towards the end. Some comb gene expressing itself? or she's sold her soul?

I"m a true believer that we are mostly all good, but each of us has either a little mischevious or evil elf within us. Maybe her mischievous side is oozing out through the comb, since everything else she oozes is sweetness??? 😆 😆

So they are moved out to the coop and new worries set in. Did we do enough to keep em safe? Will the tinkering ever end? Will they figure out the ladder and how roost? Its a new era and I miss their sweet peeps in my living room. Here are a few pics from today while we finished it up. It is 8x16 and we will be closing in an 11x16 run next. Its not winning any design or beauty awards but hey it should serve well enough for the time being :)
Well, it appears as though there are 2 of the young ones that have learned how to use the roosts and ladder!!!:lau:lau:lau

Honestly, I wouldn't worry at all. Chickens like height (feel safer at night high up) and are very curious, so I am sure they will figure out the roosts and ladders!

Also looks like you:love have a very nice knee warmer there!
