Blueberry has 3 more chicks out. I'm worried about one of them, it is weak and it looks like it did not fully absorb it's yolk sac before hatching. It just had a tiny bit left to absorb, but it's abdomen is very swollen.

Oh dear hope it’s ok.

They are tough little suckers tho so hopefully she will be ok.

What and how do you all deworm your chickens?

I take a ‘herd sample’ (some poop from multiple birds 4or 5) and send to my Vet who tests for the presence of any worms.

If there are any, he will make the suggestion. I generally would use Revolution Kitten/puppy strength for most worms, lice, mites. Tapeworms need a different med.

You can still have them and one of their sisters:
(There is one more, but I couldn't get her to stand still long enough for a pic) She looks similar to the second one, but with more grey undertones.

Is the remaining girl to be named timid, or bold? i.e. What is her personality like?

Mugs Monday featuring Blueberry and her mini me. There is finally some progress being made by "Minnie's" future siblings. It is a good thing too, Minnie is 2 days old and already hopping out of the nest. Blueberry is going to have to come off soon.
