So you know how we have 2/3 of an acre and my neighbor has 1 acre? The chickens used to use the other yard at will . Well, not anymore. Sadly, this is what I see outside my front door now.

The gate is absolutely massive. A large pick up truck can fit through just half of the gate. They no longer have access to that lovely meadow, so we’re going to have to maximize our yard.
Wow. Any idea why they built it? Do they have dogs?

When Flash comes back into lay, she will be loud, too. But her non-laying voice is a very quiet little thing. And her loud voice only comes out when she’s announcing an egg. Or calling someone to the nest or whatever you want to call it.
Glynda is just loud. Her voice does not fit her dainty size at all

DH thinks they’re going to try and hide something behind it. Remember a couple months ago when they were trying to run a corporation yard over there? The new owner always talks out both sides of his mouth. It’s hard to know what’s really going to happen. He put it on the market for like a fraction of a second and thought he was going to make $400,000 (by increasing the price) in just a few months by doing nothing to it.

I don’t know what he’s going do. If he’s going to build a nice luxury, home, remodel the little shack cabin, just sit on it or what. But there’s no reason that he would need a fence there. Nobody is living there. The building is not really livable. And if he did, why would you put the fence up before doing any building or remodeling?

This is what it looked like two days ago. They had ground the meadow down to dirt with all the traffic, but it would’ve grown back. Notice the deer in my front yard. LOL!

I can't answer that - that is too techy for me! :lau

Maybe @BY Bob or @Ponypoor could answer it, they are much more technologically advanced than I!
I learnt by error! I would start a reply - then forget I was replying…. Move on the reading posts and then reply to a second post!
I like to make them 'work', too. They love to spread their bedding around, and seem especially into it when it is a big pile. (There must be something good buried in there - there is so many places for bugs and such to hide!) he, he, he.
Yes! I did that in the barn when I moved the horses out the other day! I just piled all the stalls with shavings and I am letting the chickens do the excavation work 😊

And see I replied to multiple messages @lightm

Awwwww that’s too bad! Guess the neighbour doesn’t like chickens - silly person! Well that just sucks 😟
