Chicken Math Victim
Oreo tearing himself away from his absolutely most favorite treat, corn on the cob, to say hello to my daughter. He is such a mellow dude.

I’m so sorry Michelle. Tegan is really sick too, I know how you feel.Sorry, guys I’ve been missing. I’m nursing a sick hen. It’s not looking great for Lucky. I’m really having trouble getting her crop moving. I’m doing everything I can to help her, so let’s see if I can get her a little more time with us on earth.
I’m sorry, Lozzy. What’s going on with Tegan?I’m so sorry Michelle. Tegan is really sick too, I know how you feel.
Sorry to hear thisI’m so sorry Michelle. Tegan is really sick too, I know how you feel.
Looks like salpingitis and a respiratory infection. We’re not in a position to have exploratory surgery and she just looked miserable today. Barely ate and stood around hunched most of the day. She looked like she was improving the last couple of days but then seemed miserable today and I didn’t want her to suffer any more.I’m sorry, Lozzy. What’s going on with Tegan?
Oh my goodness! I have no idea but from one of the pictures it looks like it could be a dozen. More? What did you do?So, my 'littles' (27 of them) are now 3.5 months old. Lately a few of them have taken to roosting in the yew bush by the house instead of going into their coop (usually 5 or 6 of them).
Well, tonight there were only 3 in the Yew, and one on top of their coop - Great! Right?
Nope. I was putting them away, and the coop seemed a bit light on chickens. Couldn't get a good count, but definitely not enough in there. No idea where they went!
Well, the 'lady' that roosted on th coop attempted to dart back out of the coop after setting her in....I quick grabbed her and she shrieked! (Yes, I was intending to kill you...slow torture first, though!) Well, that shriek made a nearby tree start cackling.....
And this is what I found:

This was thee culprit that alerted me to where they were:

Anyone want to guess how many were in the tree?
