She lays blue.. as well as her two sisters.. Daffy and Poppy... my first EE Kelly lays an almost olive egg... Can’t wait to see what these two lay! It's amazing how EEs turn out. They are the most fun. You never know what you are going to get.
Her coloring is amazing. I think she is so beautiful. What color are her eggs?
She is a beaut! Thanks!What a stunner!!!![]()
Oh my gosh! This is a great idea!I'm going to do minnows in a dish pan here. I can catch them for free in the creek!! I'll video it for sure!
Yes @Aussie-Chookmum you do need to warn me! I think that was the photo that set me off in the first place. It still gives me a visceral reaction - it is such a sad and painful picture. But now that I have seen her all floofed up again I know it has a happy ending and I can bear to look at it. Poor Alice. I hope she NEVER has to go through that again! You have to warn @RoyalChick when you post these photos. You are going to give her a fright again.
I heard the 17-year crickets are coming this year and my first thought was what fun would be had by all the chickens. But I don't think they are in NJ this year so I will miss it.Excellent idea. If you do, film it. I keep planning to do that here.
Minnows swimming in water, right? I can't wait to see that!
Chooks vs Minnows. I know who I'm betting on. Haha
Edit add - please tag me?

This will be great. Less money spent on chicken feed!Yep supposedly PA is to get hit hard this year. If it gets to bad I'll let the chooks loose to eat them.
