A little less like a roll and maybe more of a mud puddle wallow? 😂 what an elegant creature eh?
hahaha ya wallowing - that's it! ewwww!

Fluffy did that over Christmas when she went to dust bathe and got her feathers all mucked up - a Silkie dust bathing in damp dirt is not a good sight! ewww! Took her forever to clean herself up hahaha - gave her something to do hahahah!

How can you tell he is looking at you? Or anything for that matter!
hahaha - good one!

Poor Mr P 💕

I see he is back to his sleeping with his head hanging down! That cannot be comfortable - can it?

And everyone is all over the place tonight....

At least Penelope looks all comfy snuggled up to Mr P ❤️

Mugs Monday

I really wanted to share the mugs I took over Christmas today, but was terribly busy all day.

And I was all excited that they would have set up the StarLink here so I would have good internet - nope they didn't set it up :he

So I am on my laptop and of course the photos are on my iphone...

Trust me they are truly awesome photos :love

The good news is there was no frost on either of the widows this morning. I don't think I have a moisture problem in the Cluckle Hut. I'll check again tomorrow morning.
Well glad no frost, but wow those ladies are snuggled up in there!

I guess Phyllis and Betty think the Cool Kids are more fun than the stodgy old ladies :lau

Progress. Maybe.
Babs and Eli have now roosted in the same spot two nights in a row. It is in the rafters (of course) but inside the coop part of the Chicken Palace.
Although Eli is named for a stunt pilot, it is Babs who decides that is where they are going and it is also Babs who has perfected the flight down.
I am still a bit freaked by the fact that they are more than 10' up in the air, but hoping this is a good sign that they are accepting the Chicken Palace as home. As soon as I am sure that they know where home is, I will let everyone out to roam a bit.

.... and the rafter looks like a good place to rest one's head :) when sleeping.
