You hatched a show girl?!(I'm assuming his girls are silkies)...
My bad, he has a buff orpington hen and a barred rock hen. For some reason Lety wanted to hatch their eggs. Our silkie girls will have nothing to do with our silkie roo. We made a good effort to team them up but the gals had chosen other roosters.

First egg and then no more since. They are messing with me I know it 🤣 I just went out and asked em where the eggs were and they all lined up on log in the run and stared back at me. Pretty sure I heard .. they are here but you’ll never find them we buried them in the wood chips and straw! :lau

Despair 😩 and 🤦‍♂️ oh my!
Remember Coco’s bump on her face? Well Shenandoah’s got one too, in the exact same place. I don’t know what it could be. :idunno
Coco’s healed up within five days, but she still Carries a scar from it. Now Shenandoah has one. It’s a real mystery to me.

Some concern for Butters back & tail feathers looking more and more beat. It seemed like she was beginning a molt a long time ago and it's just not progressing? Not fast anyway. We'll see.

Porch project done

I moved the ladder over a bit so big ladies can more easily get by it on the closer side. I didn't hook the ladder behind the 2x2, it got too complicated for me to find the right hole distance and keep the ladder as snug against the surface as possible. It would have meant cutting a wedge in the plywood too. The welding corners keep the tube away a bit already. Anyway as Bob pointed out, for the weight this should be fine unless I'm going to roost on it! @bgmathteach the S-Biners are not in stock yet.
