Goodness look at the difference between Glynda and LF!
I think Eli has a similar build to Glynda.
Glynda and Phyllis are the same size. Hattie and Lady Featherington are about the same size.

I think one of the things that subconsciously attracted me to the Polish is that they have the same lines, energy, and size as the leghorn and now the legbar. Check this out.

Thanks, the owl is seriously tiny, about the size of a robin. A snowy owl would get tangled in our netting, but I was worried that this owl could fit between the wires in my fencing, but it doesn't sound like that's how it hunts. I have let the hens out into the big run as it's a lovely mild day (-10C) and I want them to enjoy themselves.
Bistro laid the first egg since last October!! :love
Go Bristro! I havnt had an egg since October. I can imagine the feeling! 🐓❤️

Butter and her crazy molts has done it to me again. Last year I had a naked freezing hen in my room for Thanksgiving. This year starting in November she slowly started dropping feathers. She never went into her full blown drop every single feather molt until a week ago. Now she is a naked mass of pin feathers freezing chicken in my room once again. Temps dropped yesterday and it snowed and if I had her outside right now in the 31 degree weather she would freeze to death. She does this on purpose I swear. She is very smug and happy in her box covered over.
