Wow brilliant moonlight

This is my back barn camera, it doesn't have an Infrared light on it, but the moon is so bright shining on the snow it's like daylight! Just look at that shadow from the tree on the snow!

Oh and there a song popped I to my head

'Moon shadow'

It's -26C (-15F); sure hope my chickies are snug enough.

When I was younger, I would saddle up a horse and go for a ride in the moonlight! It was darn cold but really amazing! The wolves would sometimes be howling, and this time of year owls are breeding so you can hear them hooting!

And it would be sooooo cold that the fences would crackle as they contracted in the cold

Beautiful chicks. Hopefully our genetics guru's on here can comment about their head spots. I know the size and shape of the spot can indicate whether you have boys or girls.
