Hatch Day: Cheepskate

Sydney left the nest at 11:04, Mrs BY Bob and I were there at 11:06 to check. No pips that I can see without touching them but the following black video with sound demonstrates I think two different cheeps!

I had to try 3 times to get a clear recording, once a plane flew over and the second time a yellow finch landed in the tree above me and would not shut up. As you can tell, the pool pump is off.

OMG really? That is from inside the egg? WOW!!!!
(as you can tell I have zero experience of hatching chicks!)
