I like your humor you're a nutter :) ❤️

OK so I am hopelessly behind so I will just ask here how is our semi-retired madam doing today ? did she lay an egg today? I am trying to see if Penelope is laying any eggs but my mother just tells me 'they are eggs, I don't know the colour of them'...
No egg from her today

When are you getting home? March, right? Or was it April? What do you do for a job anyway? Please explain as thoroughly as possible! 😄
Well.... hoping to get home March, but until I am actually on the road I don't count my chickens before they hatch :)

It is my hope I can be home before mid April, I have baby chicks ordered and I would hate to miss out on getting them - seeing as how the enablers on here talked me into chicks!

My work is in the energy sector - oil/gas. I like to classify myself as the 'jack of all trades master of none'. I am part of the management team here, I work closely with the Big Boss here on the job - it's a great team, everyone gets along really well - thankfully. It can be a big hassle and a lot of trouble when your such a long way from civilization if people don't get along.

I am fortunate in that I have a lot of autonomy to do my work (my boss doesn't care how I do it as long as it gets done). Also, I have a lot more freedom with my work, if someone needs something I can be the person to run into town 3.5 hrs away, on a logging road.

I am at the 57th parallel - way up north! It's usually very cold all winter (-30C daily...) but this winter it has been very mild, around the -2C to +1C (that is around 28F to 34F). Until the past week when it has been absolutely freezing! Winter has arrived finally.

Interestingly enough way up here, the daylight hours are now getting more every day, something like we gain 3 minutes of daylight every day! By June 21st it will be light up here about 20hrs a day. The sun will come up around 4am in the morning and set around midnight. And the night time darkness is not very dark. It is something to experience!

OK you owe tax for that non-chicken related question :)

And here is mine for the answer!

Thank you so much! I honestly think I have gone crazy for giving "strangers" my age, but I don't regret it one bit! I feel like I know each and everyone of you in "real life." I am very glad that you thought I was older. That makes me very pleased!
Miss PtR you are owing quite a lot of Tax with all this non-chicken talk - you too:

@RoyalChick - I eggspect eggs
@Sally PB - I eggspect chicks if you have any if not Barred Rocks :)
@featherhead007 - You know what I like Alex....

Hope to it kiddos! ❤️
