As much as I would love to have Twiggy. My tribe is a one rooster only tribe.
I would end up with the same problem. I wouldn’t do that to Twig, or Jaffar

Totally understand. As Twig has matured watching Bubba and Branches behavioral shifts towards him I see now that my flock is a 2 rooster flock. Twig is also submissive and Bubba is taking advantage. Branch and Bubba coexist peacefully. I can see Twig and Branch working together well, but even If I got rid of Branch which will never happen Bubba and Twig will never work. This leaves me with 2 options, rehoming either Twig or Bubba. I love both boys, but, Bubba is my Drumstick son. Deep down, I cannot let him go for that reason alone. I'm going to be in no rush, I want a wonderful home for Twig. After I find him that perfect home as long as I have both Bubba and Branch I will force myself not to fall for anymore future boys and realize that I tried but my flock cannot be in harmony with 3 boys.

How is Eli's poop today?

Well. I think a bit better. But this lady is clearly shy about pooping in public. I am frozen to the core following that little chicken around the yard and I got only one poop so far. It looked more or less normal but a bit too liquid.
She ate a lot of grass and roots and worms as well as dried up cat food (a favorite).

This is why I don't want to hatch babies I know I will get more Roos and just have to deal with getting rid of them one way or another.

Sometimes being a responsible pet owner really truly sucks!

I think she is fine, my suggestion is to just enjoy being out with them but don't freeze your derriere off doing so. If it was anything more, you would likely have seen it by now.

If it was #elipoopwatch alone I would go in. But I am trying to keep Babs out late enough that she can’t see to go to the rafters and settles for the night with Bernie. I don’t know if it will work and I wish I had chosen a warmer night to try!

I also need to clarify, I'm not posting my musings on Twig to encourage anyone on here to take him. I need need to get my thoughts out loud and warn everyone why I will most likely have to place him. I know several on here like him and did not want it to be a shock if I came on here and announced he had been placed. This change in Bubba and Branch's behavior towards him started about 2ish weeks ago. Bubba now simply hates him and runs him off every time he see's him during the day. Branch started chasing him away about a week ago. Twig is a lover and not a fighter and instead of standing up to the boys which might help his standing, he runs.

Hard thing to watch I am sure. But it is the way of the chicken unfortunately and we mere humans are just along for the ride.
