Thanks! I have 20 or so hens and 2 roos and one cockerel (my first chick!! My silkies hatched him, his name is Robin!) And there are chicks actively hatching plus 19 chicks in the barn brooder. Sad news I had to cull one Had organ prolapse.

Yep, I am vaccinated and have had one booster. And this is my second time having Covid. I don’t know what it is with me and Covid.

Weather weather weather.... dreadful weather.

WELL.... my plans sure didn't work out the way I planned. I wanted to prevent the issue of getting stuck somewhere remote going over the lakes in Northern Ontario going home, and as you all know I was going to go through the States to miss any bad weather.

NOPE - Mother Nature has gone off the rails, the Fates have decided I MUST experience winter and its fury one further time this winter. And thus I am stuck in a Hotel in Carrington ND. Yay.... Hey at least I am not stuck out on some northern road with NO hotel in Old Blue... It's warm, there is a restaurant across the road.... I have internet access. So it's all good - and best of all safer here.

I’m not home. I miss my chooks. This motel room is cold and miserable
I do not fly over the mountains at night, it’s too dangerous and I have to stay alive. (Pay bills). I’m concerned about Kelly getting home, and Michelle’s sickness has me worried.
