Tragedy

in the joy of new life and their first time out in the big world, tragedy struck the chicks today.

Dusty fell in the pool today and before I could get to her she was gone. It was so fast. I had just named them today.

I'm so sorry Dusty. Rest in Peace poor baby.

We lost our sweet Bananabelle last night... she had an egg prolapse and I was able to get the egg out/off and tried to get the tissue back in but I believe we were to late.. she died over night... and yes, of course she was our favorite

So adorable. I am still solving the hill problem. I think my ramp (which is a ladder rather than a ramp so that may be a problem) is very long and steep. Still problem solving that!

Oh no! I am so, so sorry. It is a dangerous world out there for a little ball of fluff. RIP Dusty.

Pools out here have to have a protective fence around them - mainly to keep kids, etc. from unauthorized use /drowning. Have been some very expensive law suits filed. Our pool season is so short, it's not even worth having one.
