My chooks are having a soccer game. Someone found a snail shell and the chase is on. Dakota is in the lead.

Oops, you got EE's. Those gals go broody at the drop of a hat.

Yep and last year all but Rose went broody!! And all the silkies. And Dorothy sat there hoping her golf balls would hatch, for 5 weeks! She held her weight pretty good also! Of course I hauled her bootie off the nest a few times a day!

Oh well, just as well, I can throw the chicks in th brooder and slowly introduce to the gang.

Exchequer actually also have yellow legs, I would say she has an Exchequer.
