Since we are on opposite sides of the planet and the sun hits us first (relative to the international date line) we are 1/2 a day (ish) ahead of you. We can tell you the future! Tuesday morning is bright and sunny! 😉
Nope. Tuesday morning is bitterly cold & overcast. It's still not warm & it's lunch time. 🙄

Mealy worms should work. You need to put the treat down and let them taste it in their own. Their curiosity should work. And they should try whatever it is if it lays there long enough. Blue berries worked with the latest crop of hens for me.

If you want to be real clever, I can send you a video of Sydney clucking the "food is here" sound on a loop and you could play that as you put food down for them. Essentially becoming their mom. Let me know. I would be glad to try it.
If you can get live meal worms for them the wriggling might stimulate their curiosity and appetites!

This was Fat Birds eye condition this morning before treatment. Yesterday it was completely covered in bubbly liquid and more swollen.
The eye got another rinse out. I use cotton wool soak in PH neutral eye wash and sort of dab and squeeze to flood the eye. Now it's less swollon I can see a small cut on the lower lid and another in the corner of the same eyelid. I administered a single drop of Oftalmowell eye treatment and off she went to join her tribe.
Just done her again this evening but can't get a decent picture. The eye is much better; more eyeball showing and the bubbles are gone. The small cut in the corner has bled a bit which is good because that will help clean it.

So if she has cuts, this is an injury and not illness? Poor Fat Bird! Glad she’s doing better.

My local big pet supply store sells live cricket and meal worms.

They would get a treat and you would get entertainment if you released the bugs in the brooder!
Live meal worms were my go-to when I had an anorexic, sick hen. So fun! Beware the fat content, however. It should just be a rare treat. They will go CRAZY for them!

It could be. I don't know what has caused this. The swelling kind of suggests a sinus type problem but nostrils are clean.
I shall still probably take her to Gloria the vet.
Gloria the vet you tried to get to move in with you? :)
She should reconsider. What’s not to love about your setting and company?
