Great setup, and love the eggs! That’s really amazing isn’t it?!

It really is amazing and so cool you get to watch it by candling. Like a sonogram but without the 1500.00 charge.

I let the crew out into the run this morning and went to inspect it throughly and it’s working very well, no issues but one so far.

The issue is the other pullets have decided that since they cant lay their eggs in Brownies bowl any longer they will lay them between the coop wall and the tent, as close to her as possible.

Ill manage seeing as how it’s temporary but its always something!!

Piglet (I must stop calling her that!) has taught all the others about the zipper door to the tent. So now they are all lined up waiting for mash.
They didn’t have to wait too long.
It is the Ameraucana in the plate. She likes to dig through the mash to find her mash.
The one I am worried about is getting stuck in and was flying around energetically this morning. I guess she must be OK. But she does have some poop stuck back there. I am not sure if I should try and remove it or leave it be.

The ladies look wonderful! I hear you on the soggy mess, it’s nice today so I am going to do outside work. Tomorrow and the weekend a soggy mess, so I will take advantage of the nice weather and get the chicks out.

The one has learnt that the netting at the ends of the bin is a great escape route!

Here's the human door that has been cleared so the chickens can waltz in and demand mealworms.
I just cleaned the floor and one of them, in their rowdy protest for more, spilled my aloe Vera on the floor. The floor that I just vacuumed yesterday.
